Terpening judge errs, sides agree to new bond terms for terpening

April 19, 2012

The Michigan Attorney General and lawyers for Michael Terpening came to an agreement to change Terpening's all cash bond. Currently, it is believed Terpening is trying to raise bond using properties he controls. To make bail his bondsman would need to show the court some $750,000 in property is available for the bond.

Word has it the judge's original order was not consistent with law.

The agreement happened yesterday, and Terpening remains jailed.
