Terpening pleads no contest to sexually assaulting 10 year old boy- 1st degree

We are waiting for more information from Barry County, but this website can confirm Michael Aaron Terpening, already convicted for sexually assaulting kids placed in his group home and serving a 10-15 year prison sentence has pleaded no contest to at least one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 1st Degree involving a then 10 year old boy.

Under Michigan law, lifetime electronic monitoring after prison is also a mandatory consequence of a first- or second-degree criminal sexual conduct conviction in cases where the defendant is sentenced to prison.
